Inner-array cable lay operations at BARD Offshore 1 OWF were resumed after the winter break.

Immediately after the Easter holidays, preparatory works for cable lay operations of the last cable sections at the OWF were started by mobilizing the cable lay vessel (CLV). Afterwards the cables were loaded at NSW in Nodenham in order to resume cable lay operations at the construction site.

Cable lay operations are expected to be completed by this summer, thus the entire wind farm could be connected to the grid and put into operation in 2013.
