Campus1DOC is partner and member respectively of various organizations such as MARISSA (Maritime Safety and Security Applications), WindEnergy Network Rostock as well as WAB e.V. (Wind Energy Agency). Beyond the actual project work the DOC is actively involved in the implementation of NMMT (National Master Plan Maritime Technologies) application area "Maritime traffic control and safety technology". We also attach great importance to the qualification of future offshore personnel, e.g. as lecturer and member of the advisory board at the extra-occupational "Continuing Studies Programme – Offshore Wind Energy", a co-operation by ForWind and WAB. Furthermore, DOC is successfully cooperating with the University of Applied Sciences Bremerhaven and their Bachelor and Master program "Maritime Technologies". At the same time DOC supports and accompanies Bachelor and Diploma theses in cooperation with renowned Universities of respective professional background.

Additionally, DOC together with partners OHB Systems AG and Media Mobil GmbH is involved in the feasibility study "Com4Offshore", the development of a technical solution for an optimized communication offshore which is funded by ESA (European Space Agency) and DLR (National aeronautics and space research centre of the Federal republic of Germany). Another area within the CAMPUS activities is the development of academic and commercial-technical qualification modules within the OWISS project for offshore wind energy safety and protection. For instance, DOC experts have prepared Heavy-Lift –Teams for deployment, having trained them in practical applications of heavy-lifting tools.
